Insulation

Yacht Insulation is a specialised marine field and the insulation fitted to the inside of a superyacht hull is very significant for several reasons. A yacht owner expects his yacht to be at the perfect temperature at all times, if a yacht is not insulated correctly this can place a great strain on a yacht's air handling capabilities. Insulation throughout a superyacht also acts as effective sound proofing, with several areas of a vessel, for instance the engine room, being encased in special and very expensive, sound dampening materials for extra sound reduction. Also there are many anti vibration techniques available to the experienced yacht designer that can reduce on-board vibration to almost a nil level of disturbance.
